The story
Not your usual stay
In the heart of the Vipava Valley, in the quiet old core of the village of Dobravlje, stands a stone house more than 500 years old — one that has kept the spirit of its time, its authentic materials, and the warmth of the lives once lived within it.
The restoration used stone, wood, and countless details from the family estate itself. Much of the furniture is original and carefully restored; everything new was made by hand and to measure — without industrial uniformity.
Vila Dobra is a place for guests who value authenticity, peace, natural materials, and a slower rhythm of life — where the Slavic and Romance worlds of the Vipava Valley meet in the most beautiful way.

How does booking work?
You send an inquiry with your preferred dates, unit, and number of guests. We check availability and send you an exact offer. The reservation is confirmed once we explicitly confirm it and (as agreed) receive payment.
Is an inquiry binding?
No. Submitting the form is non-binding — it simply starts the conversation. You pay nothing in advance through the website.
How quickly do you reply?
We usually reply to inquiries within 24 hours.
How much does a stay cost?
Prices start at €129 per night (Dobra Romantika) and €229 per night (Dobra Harmonija), and vary by season and length of stay. A weekly discount applies to longer stays. You’ll receive the exact price for your dates in our reply.
How is the reservation confirmed and paid?
After we confirm availability, we send you instructions. Payment is by bank transfer or by cash on arrival.
